The only notion I can’t surrender
Is the one where there’s room in your heart
A space in between the day and the dawn
Where we can reside and had a start
Is the one where there’s room in your heart
A space in between the day and the dawn
Where we can reside and had a start
The one belief I can’t shatter
Cucoons the want for the desire we share
Entwined in time between seconds and grains
Where nothing can penetrate us there
The single idea I can’t relinquish
Guards the unity and the hope in our stars
Floating and flying between the sky and the clouds
Where only angels can gaze from afar
The last memory I can’t destroy
Shatters my soul into shards of set dismay
Strangled by the ropes that fate sent to play
Where we tried and survived but dies all the same
Yet still
The only notion I can’t surrender
Is the one where I’m still in your heart
A space between forever and now
Where we do reside never to part

Your poems are wonderful. It’s so nice to read writing of such good quality, I must admit I’m tinged with jelousy.

Thank you for your comments. I never really know what to say other than that when someone says something positive about what I have written. Thank you for stopping by, and come back any time 🙂

To be honest I don’t think there is a huge amount more that you can say.
